100 acres in Cheruvally Estate belong to Devaswom Board: Prayar

Kochi: Nearly 100 acres of land in Cheruvally Estate belong to Travancore Devaswom Board, said board president Prayar Gopalakrishnan.

The other day, the government had identified the estate for constructing Sabarimala Airport.  “The report of MG Rajamanickam Commission appointed to investigate the dispute over the land has mentioned this fact. The government should return the land to the board,” he said.

  1. It is very sad to know that only Hindu temple properties are taken over by govt and spending on other communities.
    When govt is not interfere in mosque, church why in the Hindu temples.
    Money collected from templ s must be used for Hindu rituals and poor Hindus.
